Key responsibilities

  • Based in Singapore and with a focus on Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia offices, you will assist the Business Technology Services team in delivering an exceptional I.T support service to the Liberty Asia Pacific business. This includes but is not limited to:

    • L2/3 Desktop and L1 Application Support

    • Employee On-Boarding (including application & system access)

    • Laptop and mobile device provisioning & maintenance

    • Video Conferencing administration & support

    • High Priority Incident Management including IT outage communications

    • Ownership of or participation in various IT projects.

    • Reporting & Analytics

  • Building relationships and working closely with the Liberty Asia business to ensure IT alignment with business objectives.

  • The management of vendor relationships in Asia ensuring cost effectiveness/efficiency.

  • The knowledge, experience and maturity to work autonomously, reporting to management in Sydney, Australia.

  • When required, sporadic travel to other branch offices e.g. Sydney, Hong Kong & Malaysia.

 Qualifications and Soft Skills

  • Cantonese / Mandarin speaker preferred

  • 5+ years of experience working within a Desktop or Application Support team.

  • Highly customer service oriented with solid relationship management skills

  • Advanced analytical skills, problem solving skills and technical skills

  • Broad knowledge of end user computing, network based workstation systems and hardware

  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft products including Microsoft Office, Sharepoint etc. Basic knowledge of Atlassian products e.g. Jira, Confluence etc.

  • Basic knowledge of IT concepts and frameworks e.g. ITIL

  • Basic understanding of system development lifecycles and project methodologies e.g. Agile

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
