James manages a range of casualty claims, and his current portfolio includes personal injury, property damage, construction matters and claims under Liberty’s environmental impairment liability policy.  James is also the claim's technical lead for life sciences.

Personal Profile

James has over 15 years' experience in the insurance industry.  He practiced as a solicitor for a specialised insurance firm in Melbourne for 4 years.  Upon moving to Brisbane James managed casualty claims with large Australian insurers before joining Liberty in February 2018.  James has significant experience in handling complex personal injury, property damage, product liability and environmental related losses.  James has also handled management liability and statutory prosecutions.  James works with clients and brokers who expect to be regularly updated and involved in important decisions, ultimately working together to achieve the best commercial outcome for Liberty and its clients.
