Proposed transfer of business from Liberty Insurance Pty Ltd to Liberty Specialty Markets Singapore Pte Limited

In Singapore, Liberty Mutual currently operates two companies — Liberty Insurance and Liberty Specialty Markets. From 1 January 2026 (subject to the confirmation of the General Division of the High Court of Singapore) these companies will come together under a single licence, with Liberty Insurance transferring its portfolio to Liberty Specialty Markets. This change, which policyholders are being notified of today, is a key step in presenting to you as a simpler, stronger company.

As one company, soon to be branded as Liberty, you’ll have easier access to one of the market’s broadest ranges of general insurance products, supported by the same trusted relationships. As a unified business, we’ll be able to support everything from personal insurance needs to bespoke solutions for the region’s largest construction projects, corporate clients, and government organisations.

Our combined team, co-located at One Raffles Quay and led regionally by Matthew Jackson, will continue to deliver protection for the unexpected with care.
